Here is a set of rare casting for Les Warnetts 'Lew'. The frames are black mild steel and are the last set of laser cut frames that Maxitrak (then suppliers of the castings) sold. I purchased these some fifteen years ago.
The castings were bought at the same time and these were part of the remaining batch so I bought each of the items they had left. By this time, castings such as the cylinders, had sold out.
The construction of the Lyton and Barnstaple tank was serialised in 'Engineering in Miniature' in volumes 12 to 16.
